By the last week of July, most teachers own a "World's Best Teacher" mug or five. They've also had enough wine and chocolates to see them through the summer holidays. All lovely thoughts, and nearly all of it is gone by September.
A chopping board engraved with the periodic table lasts a lot longer. It comes out most evenings, and the thank you from the class comes out with it.
One gift from the whole class
End of year presents often come from a parents' collection or the class WhatsApp group. One board is easy to split between a class, and a single engraved line can thank everyone at once: "Thank you from 9C, 2026".
We read every message before we engrave. If it's too long to fit nicely, we'll email you to agree a shorter version.

Questions we get asked
Can the whole class put their names on it?
A short message from the class works best, like 'Thank you from 9C, 2026'. A full list of 30 names would have to be engraved very small. If you'd still like names on it, type them in the engraving box and we'll email you if they won't fit nicely.
When should I order for the end of term?
We engrave and dispatch within 2 to 3 working days. Order 7 to 10 days before the last day of term to be safe with UK delivery. If you're cutting it fine, get in touch first and we'll tell you straight whether it'll arrive in time.
How does the board + spoon offer work?
Pick your board and a spoon on this page and add them as a set. 15% comes off both, and the code is applied for you at checkout. Each piece gets its own engraving, so you can put names on the board and a date on the spoon (or the other way round).
Can I change the line on the Periodic Table board?
Yes. Pick one of the four standard lines: 'We're All Chemists In The Kitchen', 'I Enjoy Cooking Periodically', '[Name] Enjoys Cooking... Periodically' or 'I Am In My Element When I Cook'. Or type your own line in the engraving box and we'll use that instead.
Is personalisation really free?
Yes. Every board, spoon and wine box includes free laser engraving. Add your names, date or message when you order and we engrave it at no extra cost. There are no hidden fees and no premium for longer messages.
Can I use an engraved board for food preparation?
Yes. The engraving is burned into the bamboo by laser, with no inks or coatings. Chop on the plain side to keep the design sharp for longer, and hand wash rather than dishwash.
