It's the small stuff, like proper tea and a decent bacon sandwich.
A Union Jack board on the worktop won't fix that. It does make a new kitchen, in a new country, feel a little more like theirs.
A message from home, written into the flag
Type a few words and we engrave them across the middle bar of the flag. The letters stay in natural bamboo, so they stand out against the engraved flag around them.
"The Taylors, Bristol to Brisbane" works. So does just their surname. Leave it blank and you get the flag on its own.

We ship internationally. Allow an extra 3 to 5 days on top of UK delivery times, and bear in mind any customs or import fees are paid at their end.

There's something right about a British-made gift for someone leaving Britain. Jason and Kate engrave every board in our Hampshire workshop, and have done since 2015.
Add a spoon for the first Sunday roast abroad
The "Keep Calm & Let Me Cook" spoon is a nod to the 1939 wartime poster, which feels about right for a Brit setting up a kitchen overseas. If it's Dad who's moving, the "Superdad" spoon says the rest. Add either to the board and 15% comes off both pieces.
It travels well
The board is solid bamboo, 40 by 24cm and 1.8cm thick, with a hanging hole in the corner. It's flat, tough and packs neatly, which matters when it's going halfway round the world.

Questions we get asked
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, we ship internationally. Allow an extra 3 to 5 days on top of UK delivery times. The customer is responsible for any customs or import fees on orders shipped outside the UK.
Can I send it straight to them?
Yes. Put their address as the delivery address at checkout. The 'With Love' gift tag arrives blank for writing on, so if you're sending it direct, put your message in the engraving or add a note to your order.
Where does the text go on the Union Jack board?
Across the middle bar of the flag. We leave the letters unengraved, so they show up in natural bamboo against the engraved flag. Leave the box blank and you get the flag on its own.
How does the board + spoon offer work?
Pick your board and a spoon on this page and add them as a set. 15% comes off both, and the code is applied for you at checkout. Each piece gets its own engraving, so you can put names on the board and a date on the spoon (or the other way round).
How do I clean it? Is it dishwasher safe?
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry it upright. Never put a bamboo board in the dishwasher; the heat and soaking make the wood swell and split. Wipe spills off the engraved side rather than scrubbing it.
